4 Days All Highlights Pai Mae Hong Son

We will pick you up in Chiang Mai around 8:00-8:30. Be sure to wait for us in front of your shelther, or you will miss your trip. If you still feel kinda sleepy in the morning, don’t worry, because we will take you to Huay Nam Dang National Park. There, after freshing yourself up with nice atmosphere, trees, mountains, and animals, you should feel more active. If you feel active, you will want to explore the woodlands nearby.

After a while, we will move to Wold War 2 Bridge. The bridge was built during World War 2. That’s where the name came from. At the time, Japanese army was very powerful in Thailand and the soldiers travelled through Pai County. Go to the bridge to feel the past. It may be old, rugged, and useless. But it’s a valuable landmark of the province. , you’ll savor a delicious Thai lunch.

The adventure continues at Pai Canyon, a natural marvel with narrow ridges and sweeping views—perfect for a light hike or a reflective moment.

As the sun dips, head up to Phra That Mae Yen temple. If the climb feels too much, we offer an alternative stop at Two Huts Pai, where the sunset over Pai Valley is just as spectacular.

Wrap up the day at Pai Walking Street, where street food stalls, local artists, and musicians fill the air with energy and color.

As usual, you will be picked up at the hotel after finishing your breakfast. This day will be different from others, as we will take you to the Chinese Village, Yun Lai View Point. You will feel the atmosphere of some Chinese traditional movies. Very beautiful.

Let’s take a walk at the village for a while. Then we will move to Sai Ngam Hot Spring. This is probably the place that you want to go most. You will love soaking yourself in natural hot water to beautify your skin and keep your body in perfect health.

After the hot spring, we will have lunch. After the lunch break, we will travel to Tham Lod Cave and explore it for a little bit. Make sure to turn on the flashlight mode on your phone or your real flashlight when you step into the cave. If not, you won’t see where you’re going and can possibly trip over rocks.

Following lunch, your journey takes you north to Ban Rak Thai, a Yunnanese-Chinese village surrounded by tea plantations and pine forests. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the lake, taking in the serene beauty before your overnight stay.

You will have breakfast at Pang Ung, of course. Having a breakfast in the middle of a place like this is absolutely a kind of heaven. Eat and fill your stomach. Then we will keep going.

We will take you to Phu Klone Mud Spa. This spa is amazing because it offers you many types of mud mask services. Yes. You can beautify your facial skin by masking it with mud. It sounds unbelievable, but it’s true. Just try it.

Next, walk the Su Tong Pae Bridge, Thailand’s longest bamboo bridge—a symbol of community effort, connecting rice fields to a peaceful temple.

After lunch, board a long-tail boat to Huay Pu Kang Long Neck Village, home to the Kayan people. Meet local women known for their brass neck rings, and hear stories about their heritage and way of life.

Finally, but not lastly, we will visit Wat Chong Kham and Wat Chong Klang. Then we will have dinner together. At night, we will spend the time in Mae Hong Son. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable night at Fern Resort or a similar hotel in Mae Hong Son.

On your last day, visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, offering panoramic views over Mae Hong Son town and surrounding hills.

Then we will explore Kae Komol Cave together. This activity requires perfect health and enough strength, as caves, including this one, usually consist of rough rocks and steep grounds. The cave exploring will take quite some time. After that, you must feel kinda exhausted. Therefore, let’s have a lunch break.

Next, If you’re traveling during the right season (On November to mid-December), the Mexican Sunflower Fields at Doi Mae U-Khor are in full bloom—an unforgettable sight of endless yellow flowers covering the mountains.

After the lunch break, we will spend a short time at Ob Luang National Park to observe some natural surroundings and take photos.

By early evening, return to Chiang Mai, your heart full of new memories and photos that tell the story of your 4-day Northern Thailand adventure.
