4 Days 3 Nights All Highlights Mae Hong Son Loop Tour

We will pick you up in Chiang Mai around 8:00-8:30. It will be a beautiful morning. Therefore, let’s come with us to the highest peak of Thailand at Doi Inthanon National Park. Let’s inhale the sweet air into our lungs. Then we will go see the King&Queen Pagoda and fresh ourselves up at Wachiratarn Waterfall before lunch time.

After the lunch time, we will visit Ob Luang National Park, to walk on the wooden bridge, see the kissing cliffs, sitting near the river shore, walk on the skywalk.

In the evening, we will have dinner and spend the night in Mae Sariang. The shelther is supposed to be River House Resort 3 Star Hotel.

Let’s get up in the morning to have breakfast. Give yourself some energy. Then we will drive to Mae Lanoi County. There, we will visit Kaew Komol Cave for the very first place. The cave is super amazing. Discovered by a Thai engineer, the cave consists of calcite, which is a kind of rare mineral. If you look at the interior wall of the cave closely, you will see that the surface looks like crystal. Very beautiful. However, the cave is quite small. It doesn’t contain many tourists. If there are lots of tourists, you will have to wait. Too many people can cause the mineral wall a great damage.

Next, we will see Bua Tong, or Mexican Sunflower, at Doi Mae-U-Kho. Get your camera ready and snap all possible shots. The field is very large, about 1.6 millions square metres large. The yellow flowers are all over and they only bloom during cold season (On November to mid-December).

Savor lunch before visiting Ban Huay Pu Keng, home to the Karen Long Neck tribe. This cultural stop offers insight into the villagers’ traditions and lifestyle.

In the late afternoon, explore the stunning twin temples of Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang, reflecting beautifully in Jong Kham Lake at sunset.

Tonight, we should have dinner and sleep in Mae Hong Son downtown. The shelter should be Fern Resort 3-Star Hotel.

You better get out of your bed in the morning to have a delicious breakfast. After the breakfast, we will take you to make some wishes and pay respect to holy things at Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu immediately. This temple has been being respected by villagers of Mae Hong Son all long. Therefore, you don’t want to miss it. You will want to see the two large pagodas and stand on the sightseeing spot, which allows you to see the overall view of Mae Hong Son town.

Next, head to Ban Jabo, where you’ll enjoy steaming bowls of noodle soup served at cliffside tables overlooking endless mountains.

After lunch, gear up for an adrenaline-pumping experience: bamboo rafting through Tham Lod Cave. Glide through dark cave chambers lit only by lanterns, passing ancient wooden coffins and towering stalactites.

For sunset, visit Phra That Mae Yen Temple, offering breathtaking Pai Valley views. If guests prefer less walking or are short on time, we’ll head to Two Huts Pai, a more accessible viewpoint.

Finish the day wandering through Pai Walking Street, full of street food, music, and artisan crafts. Overnight at the 4-star Yoma Hotel.

Greet the morning at Yun Lai Viewpoint, where sunrise mist and mountain vistas create unforgettable scenery.

Visit Santichon Village, a Yunnanese settlement with traditional architecture and charming tea houses.

Afterward, enjoy a cool swim at Mor Pang Waterfall, surrounded by lush tropical greenery.

After lunch, hike along Pai Canyon’s dramatic ridges for incredible valley views.

Before heading back, stop at Tha Pai Memorial Bridge, a WWII-era steel bridge with deep historical significance.
