3 Days Package Tour Pai and Pang Ung – Nature Meets Culture

We will pick you up in Chiang Mai around 8:00-8:30. Before that, you have some time to get dress and have a breakfast at your hotel. Get yourself ready, as we will start the trip as soon as we arrive.

Let’s go to Huay Nam Dang National Park for the very first place. Spend some time in the middle of nature. This national park is very plentiful. There are many types of forests, for examples, mixed forest, rain forest, montane forest etc. Animals are also around, but mostly small ones like monkeys, chickens, birds, fishes, bats, falcons etc. After that, we will travel to Pai County, visit the Pai Memorial Bridge and have a lunch break in Pai.

Then we will learn about the history of Yunnan people at Santichon Village. There are many exhibitions that show the arts of Chinese architectures and things. Also, you will see through these exhibitions how these people have lived their lives.

Then we will leave the village and head for Tha Pai Hot Spring to have a mineral water bath. But if our trip is in the middle of summer or rainy season, we will get to Mo Paeng Waterfall instead.

In the evening, we will watch the sunset at Wat Phra That Mae Yen. At the temple, you will see the top view of Pai County too, very beautiful. Moreover, you will want to pay respect to ‘Phra Buddha Lokutara Mahamunee’, a large white Lord Buddha statue. You have to pass a long-way stairway, in order to get up there.

Lastly, we will go to Pai Walking Street to have dinner and we will spend the night at Yoma Hotel 4 Star.

Finish your breakfast as fast as possible. Today, we will travel to Pang Mapha County. There, we will be on rafts and sail them to Tham Lod Cave, in order to explore it. We suggest you wear sport shoes, as you will walk conveniently. After all, there are lots of rocks at the cave and the ground is not smooth. You will need a lunch break after exploring the cave to full-fill your energy.

After the lunch, we will visit the bridge Su Tong Pea. The bridge takes place along plantations in the middle of mountains. It was built by monks and villagers, in order to connect Tham Pusama Garden and Kung Mai Sak Village together. The scenery there is very beautiful and stunning.

Then we will get to Pang Ung, also known as ‘Pang Tong 2 Royal Project’. The area is surrounded with water, tress, and mountains. Sometimes, we will see swans swimming in the water. Feel free to wander around or do other possible activities as long as you want. We will spend the night there.

Start your day with a peaceful bamboo raft ride on Pang Ung Reservoir, soaking in the cool morning mist and beautiful reflections across the water.

After breakfast, enjoy a rejuvenating optional stop at Phu Klon Country Club, where mineral-rich black mud treatments offer a fun and skin-friendly spa experience amidst scenic countryside.

Next, head to Ban Jabo, a Black Muser ethnic village perched on a mountain ridge. Known for its panoramic viewpoint and famous noodle shop overlooking the cliffs, this village provides a perfect break for lunch with unbeatable views.

Before returning to Chiang Mai, visit Pai Canyon, a dramatic landscape of narrow red ridges and deep valleys. Take a short hike for sweeping 360-degree views of Pai’s rugged surroundings.

The tour concludes with your return to Chiang Mai, arriving around 7 PM, with unforgettable memories of Northern Thailand’s finest Attractions in Mae Hong Son.
