Day 1: Begin with a scenic drive to the Doi San Fah viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the Mae Hong Son valley. Proceed to Ban Nam Hoo Hai Jai, the trailhead of your trek. A 3.5–4 hour hike through rotational farming areas and conservation forests leads you to Ban Huay Hee, a White Karen village. Here, you’ll be welcomed by a host family and introduced to their traditional way of life. Enjoy a village walk to observe local customs and agricultural practices, followed by a home-cooked dinner and an overnight stay in a local homestay.
Day 2: After breakfast, embark on a 2.5–3 hour trek to the summit of Doi Pui, standing at 1,722 meters. The trail passes through diverse forest types, including rainforests and dry evergreen forests, and areas rich in wild orchids. Along the way, you’ll encounter a historic aircraft wreckage site. After reaching the summit, descend for 1.5–2 hours to Doi Saju, where transportation awaits to return you to Muang Mae Hong Son District.
