For your information, the national park was established from Klong Tron Preserved Forest. In 1989, an officer of forestry department explore the left and right side of the forest. As everything was plentiful, the areas were turn into ‘Klong Tron National Park’.

However, the forests within the area don’t just consist Klong Tron Preserved Forest, but also Nam Pad Forest and Pak Huai Chalong Forest. There are 3 types of forests, consisting of montane forests, pine forests, semi-evergreen forests, and deciduous dipterocarp forests. You will want to explore these forests. After finishing admiring these, it’s time for you and your love to visit Klong Tron Waterfall, the highlight of the national park. The waterfall originates from Huai Klong Tron. It consists of two minor locations. The first one has 4 levels and the second one is 30 metres high. These two are only 1.5 kilometre away from each other. You can visit both of them and have a lovely picnic on the shore.

Next, you should get to Tham Chan Cave, which is also an interesting part of the national park. The cave is located in front of the right side of Klong Tron Preserved Forest. It’s 200 metres deep and 15 metres wide. Grab your flashlight and get inside. You will see lots of stalactites.

How to get there

Arrive at Uttaradit first. Then follow the Highway 1045. Keep going for about 68 kilometres. After reaching Nam Pad County, follow the Highway 1212(Huai Dua-Ban Pia). Then, when you see Ban Ton Khanoon, you will reach the Klong Tron national park in a hot second.
