See how gorgeous they are and take lovely photos.

Next, move to the one in Mae Chan. This one is more enormous. It is over 1 million square metres large. It consists of a restaurant, where you can enjoy sitting on the terrace while having dishes like green tea cake, ice green tea, green tea smoothie and lots more. All of these are guaranteed to be delicious, as they are made of fresh tea plants. Not only that, you can purchase tea leaves and tea powder of the finest quality. With these two types of things, you can make cups of nice hot tea at your home.

How to get there

:The Branch in Mae Chan:

Keep going along Chiang Rai-Mae Sai Road. After you reach Mae Chan, you should try to look for Pa Sang Junction and head for the way that leads you to Doi Tung, Mae Salong. Just keep driving. Don’t stop. Lastly, you will find the sign of Choui Fong Tea Plantation, which you should follow it.

:The Branch in Mae Fah Luang:

At the junction that leads you to Doi Mae Salong, you have to turn right to Ban Toed Thai. Just turn and keep driving for about 10 kilometres until you see Ban Phaya Prai. From that point, you will see another junction. Just turn left at it. After turning left, keep driving for another 2 kilometres, then turn right. Lastly, drive for the very last 200 metres and you will find your destination.

You can also hire a bus from Chiang Rai downtown, in case you don’t have a car. Your bus should take you to Ban Pa Sang. But, from that point, you must get a truck and pay it in a lump sum instead.

Nearby Places

Only about 20 kilometres away from the branch in Mae Chan, this was the first palace of Princess Srinagarindra, the royal mother of King Bhumibol. The garden consists of countless cold weather plants. And, the palace itself, you can step inside and even visit the royal bedroom, but just don’t take any pictures.

Only 37 minutes of travel from the branch in Mae Chan and you will arrive at it. The museum consists of 36 minor houses. All houses are used to store the stunning ancient item collections of Thawan Duchanee, who was one of the most well-known national artists of Thailand.

Go and pay respect to the Lanna-style Lord Buddha statue. Then wander around to see other marvellous architectures, for examples, the ubosot, the pagoda, the bodhi tree from Bodh Gaya, or the bell tower. This historict temple is only about 40 kilometres away from the branch in Mae Chan.

Pa Tueng Hot Springs is also known as ‘Huao Hin Fon Hot Springs’. It is not as big as San Kamphaeng Hot Springs in Chiangmai or some other place. But it is definitely a lovely place for family members to go on holidays and spend a great time together.
